If you are a rising junior or senior and would like to participate in the Mentor Program at a local elementary or middle school next year, please ask your school counselor for the application or click on the link below. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in education or for those who enjoy working with younger grades. Students who participate in this program can earn credit or service hours and are scheduled during the school day in place of a free block. 🎨 Attention Graduating Senior Artists! 🎓
The Thornton Academy Permanent Art Collection Committee is pleased to
announce the annual call for entries from the Class of 2025!
Each year, one original artwork created by a graduating senior is selected to join the Permanent Art Collection—a tradition that celebrates creativity, honors our school’s artistic legacy, and connects generations of TA artists.
✅ What You Need to Know:
● Open to all graduating seniors.
● Submit one original, finished artwork made during the 2024–25 school year.
● All fine art media welcome (2D or 3D, including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, etc.).
● Must include a quality photo(s) of the work and deliver the physical piece to Ms.Thomas in FA122 by the deadline.
📌 Please read all directions carefully and complete the requirements thoroughly. Incomplete entries will be disqualified, and late submissions will not be accepted.
➢ Deadline: Friday, May 9th, 2025 at 3:00 PM
➢ Award: $250 Gift Certificate to Artist & Craftsman Supply
➢ The selected artist will be honored at Baccalaureate and their work will be
professionally displayed on campus!

Your $50 graduation fee covers the cost of your cap & gown, diploma and cover, and other graduation items. The fee is now overdue.
