Thank you to our TA/Saco Community for the TA Student Council door-to-door food drive. We appreciate everyone taking the time to help with this event and help others in need. The Saco Food Pantry is grateful for all that we have done. It will help so many families who need help throughout the month.
We could not have done this without you. We delivered 38 banana boxes of food and hygiene items and $163.00 in cash. We are grateful for our TA/Saco Community.
JUNIORS
Reminder to all Juniors that they will be taking the Maine Science Exam during their regularly scheduled science class between April 2nd and April 11th. Students with AP or no science class scheduled will will be moving classrooms. Please make sure you are checking your email for important instructions on where and when to go. If student miss their original testing date, they will be required to attend a make-up session. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Logan jennifer.logan@thorntonacademy.org

The Thornton Academy Permanent Art Collection Committee is pleased to
announce the annual call for entries from the Class of 2025!
Each year, one original artwork created by a graduating senior is selected to join the Permanent Art Collection—a tradition that celebrates creativity, honors our school’s artistic legacy, and connects generations of TA artists.
✅ What You Need to Know:
● Open to all graduating seniors.
● Submit one original, finished artwork made during the 2024–25 school year.
● All fine art media welcome (2D or 3D, including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, etc.).
● Must include a quality photo(s) of the work and deliver the physical piece to Ms.Thomas in FA122 by the deadline.
📌 Please read all directions carefully and complete the requirements thoroughly. Incomplete entries will be disqualified, and late submissions will not be accepted.
➢ Deadline: Friday, May 9th, 2025 at 3:00 PM
➢ Award: $250 Gift Certificate to Artist & Craftsman Supply
➢ The selected artist will be honored at Baccalaureate and their work will be
professionally displayed on campus!

The Angler's Society is always looking for new members. Anyone with an interest in the Maine Outdoors is encouraged to come and check it out. We meet weekly on Tuesdays from 2:50-3:00pm in SB 203 and conduct monthly outings on the water.

Cap and Gown orders have been placed for all graduating seniors. Thank you to all who completed the form or provided your information.
Your $50 graduation fee covers the cost of your cap & gown, diploma and cover, and other graduation items. The fee is now overdue.
