Halloween is always on October 31. It is the eve of All Saints’ Day on November 1, a Christian holiday commemorating all known and unknown saints.
Dia de los Muertos (November 1 - November 2) is the Mexican celebration of the continuity of life day to remember late ancestors.

There will be a meeting after school on Friday, November 1 in MB 006 for all boys interested in trying out for basketball this winter. This meeting is mandatory if you plan on trying out. See Mr. Nelson if you have any questions.
Interact Club is looking for more volunteers! Saturday, November 2, from 9-10:30, we will work with Age Friendly Saco to fill and deliver sand buckets to seniors in Saco. The TA Tour Guides are in need of more Freshman students to help us with Shadow days of prospective students. We will hold a training in early November before Shadow days begin. FMI contact Jamie Small at jamie.small@thorntonacademy.org
Art School Presentations 2024-25
The following Art School presentations have been scheduled during Ms. Thomas’ Gold 4 block class in room FA 122(B). All Junior & Senior Artists interested in attending art school at the post-secondary level may attend as long as they have permission from their Gold 4 Teacher and have a pass from them. Please sign-up in advance with Ms. Thomas in person after school or by email. Students must have a pass from their academic teacher the day of the presentation. Please no surprise drop-ins on the day of the presentation!

Graduation Information
TA Graduation and Senior Information provides all of the information you need for your journey through senior year. It is updated regularly.
Cap and Gown orders have been placed for all graduating seniors. Thank you to all who completed the form or provided your information.
Your $50 graduation fee covers the cost of your cap & gown, diploma and cover, and other graduation items. The fee is due February 14th.
