The Portland Sea Dogs have proudly hosted the Most Improved Student Program, recognizing thousands of students across Maine and New Hampshire. TA was invited again this year to participate in the program to honor students who have shown meaningful growth and improvement in the classroom.
The Most Improved Student Program is open to students in grades K–12 and requires a teacher nomination.
Each nominated student will receive a complimentary ticket to a designated Sea Dogs game. Tickets and award certificates. Parents and guardians will use the QR code attached to the ticket to purchase additional tickets for the designated game date printed on the ticket. On game day, students will be recognized in a special pregame on-field ceremony (weather permitting), and each honoree’s name will appear on our center field message board.

If you are a rising junior or senior and would like to participate in the Mentor Program at a local elementary or middle school next year, please ask your school counselor for the application.
This is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in education or who enjoy working with younger students.
Students who participate in this program can earn credit or service hours and will be scheduled during the school day in place of a free block.
