In May we celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and Jewish American Heritage Month.
Cinco de Mayo, Sunday, May 5th, is the Mexican celebration of the 1862 defeat of French occupational forces.
Spring Testing Information - All students should be checking their school email regularly for information and updates.
Great job to all the Freshman and Sophomore students that took the NWEA exam this morning!
AP exams begin on May 6th. All students taking an AP exam should check their email regularly for information and updates.
All Juniors will be taking the Maine State Science exam on Monday, May 20th. More details to follow soon.
Spring Fling Dance
May 4th ~ 7-10pm ~ Linnell Gym
Tickets already sold for Winter Carnival will be honored. Those who don't have tickets and wish to attend on May 4th can purchase tickets from Mrs. Martin in the Counseling Office. They are $10 each and payable by cash or check made out to Thornton Academy. The deadline to purchase tickets is May 1, 2024.

A huge thank you and shoutout to Juniors MacKenna Durkee, Brooke Helgesen, and Sam Drummey, as well as, Sophomores Winter Williams, Lauren Carrier, Jackson Howard, and Olivia Albert for making sure the prom was a success! From 8am decorating to 10PM cleanup - they represented Student Council with a smile!!

Attention Senior Artists: The TA Permanent Art Collection Committee announces its Call for Entries 2024 and invites you to submit one artwork for consideration for this competition.
