Flag Day, June 14th, is the anniversary of the adoption of the United States Flag by Congress in 1777.
Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15th, is a celebration honoring fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.
Summer Solstice, Friday, June 20th, is the first day of summer and the longest day of the year as the Sun travels the longest path through the sky.
End of Year Schedules
Congratulations to our Boys and Girls Tennis teams on outstanding seasons. They both finished with 11-1 Regular Season records and competed in the Regional Finals this past Monday at Bates College. The boys fell to Falmouth 4-1 and the girls fell to Falmouth 3-2. Well done Players and Coaches, you all represented Thornton Academy with great competitive spirit and great sportsmanship.
We would like to wish our other spring teams the best of luck in the playoffs.

With a victory the the girls lacrosse team would play a State quarterfinal game at Kennebunk HS on Saturday 6/14 at 11:00 am
