Haiga March 2009

Special Haiga Exhibition

Introduction

The World Haiku Club is pleased to announce the start of WHC’s SPECIAL HAIGA EXHIBITION.

In this new series of exhibitions, which will be held from time to time, we wish to concentrate on three things:

(1) Traditional excellence,

(2) Free haiga and

(3) Innovative experiment and to keep high standards and quality in all of them.

We hold the first SPECIAL HAIGA EXHIBITION in the current issue of World Haiku Review and the featured artist is Colin Stewart Jones of Aberdeen, Scotland. Colin has done a series of very interesting and attractive haiga using English letters in bold designs and colours, representing different birds. Enjoy!
