The highest point of the trek, at this point I experienced, for the first time in my life, symptoms of height sickness and exhaustion

From this herd, a tiger had taken a lamb and a sheep the day before
The shepherds put a tarpaul over this structure to sleep
Very old rododendron trees are a complete ecosystem in themselves

Gathered Mushrooms were frequently used in meals. at 4000 meter height we had sushi's (amongst others delicacies)
And Culture
For the festival od Dashain blood-offerings are given
Our group, everyone very special
The drive from Kathmandu to the trek start featured heavy rains, many landslides and more potholes than asfalt on the main road of Nepal.
We were lucky as the next day, travel would have been impossible!
