Reunion Goodbey

Reunion, 10-10-2015

The time to say goodbey to beautiful Reunion is nearing. Wednesday the weather looks fine until the sterch south of Madagascar, after that we will have to decide en route how to fare. When we arrive end of October we hope our visas will allow us to see Jan and Fenneke in Cape town for the full period of their stay, end of January. We are getting our supplies up to date. The fresh goods will be bought on Tuesday if the weather remains as it looks. Clearing out is a simple easy matter here and can be done at the capitainerie.

Our trip to probably Durban will take about 12 days and we will keep updates of our position underway on the website as indicated at the homepage.

For now our goodbey photo's of Reunion: some lovely old houses in St Denis, the capital, and the lovely people of Reunion. SA book fair here near the marina gave us ample opportunity to make pictures of kids and their parents. Thank you Reunion!

This is the city council. It looks like many 'special ' functions exist that sound very important, but on second thought you wonder what these people are actually doing?
