This is a perfect combination for a bedtime tea. It has a soothing, calming effect that will lull you to sleep. The chamomile’s mild taste mixed with sweet and sour herbs and flowers will relax you and you will sleep carelessly.
Yields: 2 Servings
Ingredients:
½ tsp chamomile tea
½ tsp Pineapple sage flowers
¼ tsp Lemon verbena leaves
¼ Mint Julep leaves
¼ Orange peel
4 Rose hips
Honey to taste
2 cups water
Methods of Preparation:
1. Bring the water to a boil.
2. Remove from the heat.
3. Add all the herbs and steep for 5 minutes.
4. Strain the tea, reserving the rose hips.
5. Put two rose hips per cup.
6. Pour the tea over and serve hot.
