Oolong tea pairs perfectly with stone fruits and plum, having a sweet taste and beautiful texture, makes a nice match with the oolong tea. The taste is intensified with a hint of rum and vanilla, so don’t be worried, you won’t get drunk since there are only traces of rum for achieving a richer taste and aroma.
Yields: 2 Servings
Ingredients:
4 plums
2 tsp oolong tea
2 tbsp rum
1 tsp vanilla syrup
2 cups water
Methods of Preparation:
1. Cut the plums in halves and put them in a bowl.
2. Pour the rum and vanilla syrup in the bowl with plums and stir.
3. Let the plums sit for 15 minutes and stir occasionally until they soak in all the rum and vanilla syrup.
4. Meanwhile, pour the water in a pan and bring to a boil.
5. Remove the pan from the heat and add the tea.
6. Steep for 4 minutes.
7. Strain the tea and pour it in mugs.
8. Sweeten with plums.
9. Serve immediately
