Care for a refreshing fancy cup of bubble tea but don’t won’t to spend a lot of money or run to the nearest coffee shop? Well, you can prepare five cups at a price of one bubble tea in a coffee shop, with your own ingredients that will guarantee better quality and richer taste!
Yields: 2 Servings
Ingredients:
½ cup dried black tapioca pearls
1 cup sugar
4 tsp oolong tea
1 cup peach nectar
1 cup almond milk
1 cup water
2 cup ice
Sugar syrup to taste
Methods of Preparation:
1. Boil one cup water and steep oolong tea leaves for 7 minutes.
2. Strain the tea and let it cool to the room temperature.
3. In another pan, put the tapioca pearls and deeply cover them with water.
4. Read the instructions for cooking the tapioca pearls on the back of your tapioca bag. It usually doesn’t take longer than 25 minutes.
5. In another saucepan, mix 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water.
6. Bring the mixture to a boil.
7. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
8. Remove from heat.
9. Drain the tapioca pearls and add them to the warm syrup.
10. Meanwhile, put the remaining ingredients in the blender.
11. Blend until smooth.
12. Spread the tapioca pearls in two tall glasses and top it off with the mixture from the blender.
13. Serve with a straw.
