There are many extraordinary ways you can have your cup of latte, but why not without the caffeine? Rooibos tea is famous for being the only type of tea without the caffeine, but still rich with all the goodies any tea provides. It has already been established that rooibos and vanilla are a great match, with rooibos tea’s inherent sweetness and vanilla’s enchanting aroma. You should try this latte in the morning; you will see that it is a good replacement for coffee or caffeinated teas.
Yields: 1 Serving
Ingredients:
1 tsp rooibos tealeaves
¼ cup water
¾ cup fat-free milk
1 tbsp vanilla syrup Cinnamon for serving
Methods of Preparation:
1. Boil the water.
2. Steep the rooibos tea for 5 minutes.
3. Strain the water.
4. Put the milk in another pan and heat to near boil.
5. Add about half of the milk to the tea.
6. With a frother, create foam from the remaining milk.
7. Pour your tea and milk combination in a tea cup.
8. Top it off with your milk foam.
9. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
10. Serve immediately
