Raspberries and black tea make such a delicate, perfect pair. The refreshing sweet taste of the raspberries lifts the complex sumptuousness of the black tea to another level, softening the flavor. After the first sip you’ll understand why this is such an amazing combo of tastes! Also, it is really easy to prepare.
Yields: 8 Servings
Ingredients:
8- 1/4 cups water
2/3 cup sugar
5 tsp black tea or 5 teabags
4 cups raspberries
Methods of Preparation:
1. In a pan, bring the water to a boil.
2. Add the sugar, stirring until it has dissolved.
3. Remove from the head and add the tea.
4. Steep for 6 minutes and then strain the tea/discard the teabags.
5. Add 4 cups water.
6. Put the raspberries and remaining water in another pan.
7. Bring to a boil.
8. Reduce the heat and stir for another 5 minutes.
9. Strain the juice and add it to the tea.
10. You can either serve this tea hot, or cool it in the fridge and serve over ice.
