Disastrous flooding is occurring in the Colorado Front Range! Big Thompson is possibly expected to again go out and Hwy 36 is cut off between Estes and Loveland. Lyons is now isolated and even northern parts of Denver is flooding in the Broomfield area. Classes are called off in Boulder and areas being evacuated. For update information, check out The Denver Post The only good might be that hopefully Johnson Lake will receive some of this water via the South Platte. The lake is starting to rise: J-lake 30 day Levels

Anyone planning to travel to this area should be sure and call in advance, or check on line

at: CO Trip as many routes are now closed and/or experiencing heavy rain.
