(HOLDREGE, Neb.) NEWS RELEASE

The Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District will hold stakeholders

meetings in April for cabin owners and public with interest in Central's reservoirs

and lakes.

The format of the meetings will be a series of presentations by representatives

from Central, followed by an "open house" to provide an opportunity for stakeholders

to visit with Central personnel.

All meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m., (local time) with one hour of presentations,

followed by one hour of open house. Meetings have been scheduled on:

Wed., April 8 at the Holiday Inn Express, 2605 Plum Creek Parkway in Lexington

for stakeholders at Johnson Lake, Plum Creek Canyon Lake and other area Supply

Canal lakes.

Tentative topics of the presentations are the history and operations of

Central's hydro-

irrigation project, and current and future permitting

under Central's federally required Land and Shoreline Management

Plan.
