Thursday Evening Biking

Meet each Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. at LakeShore Marina for a fun ride around the lake and supper. A website has been set up on Facebook as South Side Peddle Bikers for a listing of members that enjoy biking in the area and for other bike riding times and events. Johnson Lake Ride ‘n Picnic

Last Saturday of every month! 5:00 pm start

Meet at Johnson Lake picnic shelter just north of the swimming beach in the East Side State Campground. We'll ride around the lake taking the trail as far as we can. The ride will end at the starting location where we will enjoy an evening picnic supper. Picnickers may want to bring blankets in case the picnic tables are full. Pack your own picnic supper and bring goodies to share if you'd like.

The purposes of the ride are to bring the communities (Johnson Lake, Elwood, Lex, Gothenburg, Cozad, etc) together for a leisurely social ride and promote awareness of the Johnson Lake trail!

*Leisurely pace. *Helmets required. *Children and child trailers welcome.
