M/s Raj Kumar & co.: Delhi account for UP workers

• M/S Raj Kumar is contractor for Hall IV, Hall IX, and GH (II) also known as Hall VI.

  • It has been brought to our attention that M/S Raj Kumar has issued Delhi EPF Numbers to workers in Hall IV ( eg. DLCPM0039457/000/0000XXX where XXX varies from worker to worker). It is also reasonable to expect that the contractor has resorted to similar practices in Hall IX and GH II.

  • Note that these workers, from an earlier contractor, already had UP Numbers (UP/KNP/0039824/000/0000XXX). 

  • One wonders about the motivation on the part of M/S Raj Kumar & Co. for issuing Delhi EPF numbers when workers already had UP numbers!

• Fearing that with the issuance of Delhi Numbers, they might not be able to access their EPF accounts with UP numbers, workers have withdrawn all their balances defeating the purpose of savings for retirement.
