Dear All,
'Contract Workers Welfare & Relief Fund’ was created within the `Endowment
Fund’ of IIT Kanpur by various alumni and well-wishers of IIT Kanpur
during the financial year 2007-08 with an aim to support ex-gratia payment
to the `Next of Kin (NoK)’ of the contractual worker, who meets an
unfortunate death during his/ her engagement with IIT Kanpur.
Some of you have expressed donating towards the welfare of the family of
the workers who we have lost in the recent mishap. Please use the account
information below for your donation (100% deduction allowed under 80G).
The disbursement of the same will be done through the office of Dean of
Administration.
