2017-08-22 A few random notes from public meeting.

(Editor's note: These were obtained via an alumnus/campus-resident who was present there, and do not represent the meeting in toto, just some interesting facets.)

1) There was an interview held on the first week of August, in which only 18 supervisors in the present workforce were interviewed. The representative of the contractor claimed that they did not appear in appropriate attire and had no knowledge of work other than there's. Workers claim that among the 18 of them, one, who is aged and had met with an accident recently, did not wear shoes. Other than him everybody followed the protocols. They claim that they have CC tv footage to prove this.

2) around 25 - 30 room boys were interviewed again yesterday. none of them have received any response from the contractor as of now.

3) 3 waiters in the dining room have been issued offer letters to continue their work with new contractor. notice that these workers were not interviewed.

In summary, interview and job letters are not correlated at all, and there seems to be a running joke: run away from interviews if you want to get hired!
