Never Say Never

I'm turning right into my mother,

I'm starting to lose my mind.

I called Maxwell 'David' as Meggan sat waiting;

I ran to get things left behind.

I went to the store needing Softsoap,

But it didn't get put on my list.

I got chips and more ketchup I knew I would need,

But had multiples of on my shelf.

I had to buy foam bathtub cleaner.

I grabbed the same can that I knew

Was the same kind I'd purchased for year after year

But it's apple green scented, not blue.

So I'm off to make bathtubs smell fruity

As I call out my children's wrong names.

I hope to find something to wash off my hands with

Since motherhood's made me insane!
