Supplication

O sleepless night.

Canst Thou but wait with me

One hour?

My heart is heavy,

Burdened with inexpressible sorrow.

Leave me not alone.

Depths I travel.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death

I will fear no evil,

For Thou art with me

Through pain and betrayal,

From darkness into everlasting light.

O wait with me.

Wait with me not one hour

But all the night.
