The Faceless One

The Faceless One is the font of all knowledge and light. The Faceless One knows all that is, was, or will be. Abstraction, intellect, foreknowledge, mystery are all things dominated. Society, civilization, self sentience are all things bestowed upon the races by the Faceless One.

Though not seen, the Faceless One is also consistently depicted in art. Against a background of sky, clouds, and benign light floats a seated figure in white robes. It is shrouded in yellow light. It is impossible to determine the sex of the figure: the face is unseen, just blank light. The seated figure is in a pose which suggests it is thinking, pondering, and dreaming.
