Did You Know?
- That only 3 of the original Champions of the Coalition remain?
o Duke Ulrich Grimscht became Duke in 955, accepted the Advisor position to King Calvin in 959, and leadership of the School of Evocation in 960.
o High Priest Stormcloak defeated (and slew) High Priest Krolin in a highly publicized duel on the greens at Castle Arhus before the entire Coalition in 955. Krolin had destroyed the nearly complete new High Temple of Nuath in Uter, Gwynyth Raius earlier that year. Construction on the final High Temple continues on its original site in Saarland.
o Marquis Dray Drawknife lives in quiet retirement in Gwynyth Raius.
o Viscount Jorgie, Master Abjurer disappeared in 948.
o Count Bloodstone was slain in the defense of the School of Elementalism in 948.
o Thraxx, dwarven Champion of Surgyth disappeared in 957, shortly after Croy joined the Coalition and returned the lands it had annexed from Dun centuries ago.
o Ungrumm, dwarven Champion of Dunay was slain in the wilds of Gwynyth Raius in 948.
- That the office of Chancellor of the Coalition was formed in 955, 10 years ago?
o The first Chancellor was King Trent II of Caedir.
o The current Chancellor is Lord Griffith, whose term is ending this week.
- That it’s only been 2 years since Upper and Lower Rothland finally become one?
- That it’s only been 3 years since The Barbarian Wars?
o Our sister countries to the southwest have finally been recognized by the Coalition.
o New emissaries will be sent as part of the meetings.
- That Croy was nearly destroyed in the 7 year economic ban that the Coalition erected against it? They are still recovering in the 8 years since it was lifted.
