Crostini with Avocado and Feta Cheese

Nothing could be simpler than these little avocado toasts, but the flavors of the lime and feta cheese are a perfect complement to the creamy avocado. They make an amazing appetizer, especially if you use a smaller baguette. But they're great for lunch or a snack too. Sourdough is wonderful here.
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup feta cheese
Fresh cracked black pepper
8 medium-sized baguette slices (or 16 slices from a thinner baguette)
Remove the pit and mash the avocado, stirring in the lime juice and salt.
Lightly toast the baguette slices and then place some of the avocado mixture on the toast. Sprinkle with feta cheese and several grinds of fresh black pepper.
