As part of our collegial research, we will be meeting in three settings; in school meetings, after school meetings, and online meetings. All meetings will follow a similar structure. When we meet together, both virtually and face to face, individuals will reflect on their literacy goals, identify problems of practice, create an action plan for addressing problems of practice, and consult with each other to best implement next steps.
In-school meetings, we will spend the day together working in a think tank. Teachers will share ideas, try new things, and consult with each other, along with our consultants from TCRWP.
After-school meetings, teachers will be provided with an opportunity to work on solutions to their problems of practice in small groups. As a collegial group, individuals will participate by sharing and then reflecting on next steps and progress.
Asynchronous sessions, teachers will post progress and action steps, along with new questions they may have. Teachers will comment on colleagues' posts, and use a variety of digital resources as tools to support our work.
***ALL POSTS SHOULD BE POSTED BY THE ASYNCHRONOUS MEETING DATE.
***ALL RESPONSES SHOULD BE POSTED SOMETIME THAT WEEK.
For each asynchronous session, you are required to post your reflection, which includes notes on your progress, action steps, and new questions you may have. You are then to read and reply to three other posts (your partner and two others) with feedback, and/or links to resources that will support your colleague's efforts.
