As we continue with our phonics units, we continue to create and provide more practice for the students. This last unit talked about word families. For example, -at, -et, -it, ug, etc. We wanted the students to practice not only reading these words, but being able to hear the sounds when orally stating them. We gave our students a sort, so they could pracitce this skill. This is a sort that the students are familiar with, as we are using them for most of the word families we are teaching.
These look great! Good practice and also great to send home for the parents to see! Susan
Hi Lindsay, This looks like great practice. I love to see what phonics you are working on in the classroom so I can work to reinforce those skills in Reading. - Jessica
