Good morning Giraffe Class,

We have a fun-filled day ahead of us. Do you remember the story about Harry and his dinosaurs? Today you are going to use your creativity and imagination to make your own dinosaurs.

  • Other sensory resources to practice writing the letters such as shaving foam, sand in a baking tray, flour in a baking tray

Learning Objective:

To use my imagination to create a picture of Harry’s dinosaurs.

To use my language to share some information about Harry’s dinosaurs.

You will need:

Paper/ colouring pencils / markers / paint. Glue, coloured paper strips or and craft materials to decorate your dinosaur picture.

Learning activity:

Draw and decorate a picture of Harry's dinosaur. Can you tell me two things you like about Harry's dinosaur? Can you describe Harry's dinosaurs?

Other ideas:

Using child scissors, cut out your picture of Harry's dinosaur.

Create a 3D dinosaur using whatever materials you have lying around your house.
