The recent RCAMES badminton tournament was a whirlwind of competition, with the U13 team from MCS stealing the show with a clean sweep across their category! While the day wasn't without its hiccups, the overall spirit of sportsmanship shone through.

The RCAMES badminton tournament kicked off this Saturday starting with a prayer led by Mr. Bucag, setting the tone for a day of friendly competition. Mr. Bucag then gathered the teams, likely offering words of encouragement and reminding them of sportsmanship before the games began.

One challenge arose during the Singles A Girls match between SAS and MCS represented by Reigne Bautista U19. Scoring difficulties emerged, likely due to confusion regarding the in and out lines on the court. This incident highlights the importance of clear communication and established ground rules during badminton matches.

Another unexpected turn of events occurred when the brackets were mixed up. An U13 player from MCS found himself facing an U19 opponent from SCPS in the Singles Men category. To ensure fair play and appropriate competition within designated age groups, this match resulted in a forfeit. 

Despite these unforeseen circumstances, the tournament witnessed some impressive displays of skill. Alfonso Madali from the competition stood out, dominating the U19 Men's Singles category with victories against both SAS and SCPS players. His thrilling match with SCPS in the first set created an action-packed atmosphere as they battled for 3 deuces.
