DECK THE HALLS, 7S WINNERS AWARDED; BPSP TOTAL COLLECTION ANNOUNCED
The Student Coordinating Board and the 7S of Good Housekeeping Committee announced the Deck the Halls: Christmas Hallway Decorating Contest and 7S evaluation winners along with the total collection for the Barya Para sa Pangarap: A Scholarship Fund Drive for the Needy.

Last January 4, 2024, after the morning praise, the Student Coordinating Board announced this year’s winners of the Deck the Halls: Christmas Hallway Decorating Contest, at the Malate Catholic School quadrangle. Followed by announcement of the ranking of the 7S of Good Housekeeping for this 2nd quarter and the announcement of the total fund collected for the Barya Para sa Pangarap Fund Drive.
Led by Mr. Kenjie Eneran, the Deck the Halls winners for the Grade School and Junior High School Departments were announced. The following are the winners per building:
Our Lady of Remedies Building (OLRB) (Grade School)
Champion: 2nd Floor (Grade 2 - 5 Assemblies) (Eco-Elves Awardee)
1st Runner Up: Ground Floor (ECE - Grade 1 Assemblies)
2nd Runner Up: 3rd Floor (Grade 6 Assembly)
Assumption Building (AB) (Junior High School)
Champion: 2nd Floor (Grade 8 - St. Therese, St. Anthony, and Grade 10 Assembly)
1st Runner Up: 3rd Floor (Grade 7 Assembly) (Eco-Elves Awardee)
2nd Runner Up: 4th Floor (Grade 8 - St. Thomas and Grade 9 Assembly)
After the awarding of certificates, the winners of 7S were announced. The following are the winners per department with their respective scores:
Grade School:
Champion: Grade 4 - Our Lady of Perpetual Help (4.28)
1st Runner Up: Grade 3 - Our Lady of Remedies (4.05)
2nd Runner Up: Grade 4 - Our Lady of Miraculous Medal (3.91)
Junior High School:
Champion: Grade 10 - St. Agnes of Rome (3.92)
1st Runner Up: Grade 7 - St. Mark the Evangelist (3.65)
2nd Runner Up: Grade 10 - St. Cecilia of Rome (3.56)
Senior High School:
Champion: Grade 12 - Combined Section of St. Augustine of Hippo and St. Joseph the Worker (3.53)
1st Runner Up: Grade 11 - St. Albert the Great (3.35)
2nd Runner Up: Grade 12 - Combined Section of St. Matthew the Apostle and St. Isidore the Labourer (3.26)
Following the announcement of winners, the members of the SCB announced the total collection of this quarter’s Barya Para sa Pangarap.
The fund drive garnered 33,175.66 pesos from the two collections of every classroom, facilities’ canisters, and club contributions.
The leading contributor was the Grade 5 - Our Lady of Guadalupe donating 1,023.75 pesos. The highest donation was made by the Glee Club with 10,090.50 pesos collected from Paskoro 2023 held last December.
