“Nahuhulog” ni MCS Alumnus, Jed Baruelo, Pasok sa Top 50 ng Spotify PH

“Just be true to yourself, diba yung motto ng MCS ay True to my Faith?” (Maging totoo ka lang sa sarili mo, diba yung motto ng MCS ay True to my Faith?) sabi ni Jed Baruelo. Si Jed Baruelo, isang Filipino singer na isa ring Malate Catholic School (MCS) alumnus ay nagbigay ng ilang oras para sa isang panayam tungkol sa kanya at sa kanyang kantang “Nahuhulog”, na may limang milyon streams sa Spotify.

Pagbubukas ng Malate Catholic School sa Taong-Panuruan 2023-2024

Bukas na muli ang Malate Catholic School para sa full face-to-face classes para sa taong panuruang 2023-2024. Noong Agosto 7, 2023, ipinagdiwang ito sa pamamagitan ng Welcome Program na inihanda ng SCB, at ang opisyal na paglulunsad ng Buwan ng Wika at Kasaysayan na may temang: "Filipino at Kasaysayan: Kasangkapan sa Katarungang Panlipunan, Daan sa Sama-Samang Paglalakbay." 


Recognition Rites Culminate for the MCS and ECS Grade School & High School Department

Following the graduation of grade 12 and grade 6 students and the moving up ceremony of the grade 10 students, grade school and high school student awardees were awarded medals and certificates in the recognition rites for the school year 2022-2023.

The Ninth Day of Misa de Gallo

For nine consecutive days, Filipinos from different walks of life flock to Catholic Churches to participate in one of the country’s distinct Christmas traditions—attending the Simbang Gabi or Misa de Gallo. Now, as Christmas approaches, the people are at the ninth and final day of this tradition, with the gospel reading taken from Luke. When the clock struck five o'clock, the final Misa de Gallo began on the Cultural Center of the Philippines' Main Building Ramp.

The grade five students finally had their first communion yesterday, November 11, 2022, after the activity had been postponed for two years due to the pandemic.
