Kalayaan

Her
💟
Every girl, every woman, has a story; a story of depression and joy, of failure and success, of shame and glory, and of pain and pleasure. It is within -her- and she carries these marks and bruises with dignity and with grounded-ness. Listen to her story. 👂
Attached below is “Her,” written by Princess Jewel Recto.

What Valentine's Day has to Offer
The day I hate the most is the day everyone adores. That day has come again and everyone is excited. Well, I’m just gonna dance it out and wait for what Valentine’s day this year has to offer me. Will it be a job? Or more bills? Will I be hospitalized? At least, I’m sure that it won’t be a break-up because I’ve given up on true love 16 years ago.

The Impact of Change
Being a child is something we want to be forever—no problems, no worries, just pure happiness and joy. Connor Atkins was a nerdy student who never experienced this until he was in the 8th Grade. He’s a consistent honor student, but having a friend was strange to him.

You Are Who You Love
The day of hearts has finally arrived today, however let’s not forget that love must come from within first. To love others means to accept yourself first. Let the spirit of love touch our hearts this Valentine’s Day.
