THE CLARIONETTE HOLDS TURNOVER PROGRAM FOR A.Y. '24-'25

During the turnover program held on July 15, 2024, at the MCS campus, the new editorial board of the Clarionette was announced for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.

July 15, 2024 - the old and new editorial board of the Clarionette gathered at the MCS campus for the turnover program for the academic year 2024-2025. The program began at 9 am and lasted until 10 am. 


The outgoing Head Photojournalist, John Adam Saylon, led the opening prayer. Ria Malabanan, the outgoing Associate Editor-in-Chief, followed with the opening remarks. Following this was Aira Lao’s (previous Managing Editor) short overview of the achievements of the Clarionette Editorial Board for the academic year 2023-2024. Afterward, Lorrieza Punzalan, the outgoing News Editor, introduced the new editorial board for the Academic Year 2024-2025.

Starting July 15, 2024, Aira Lao will act as the new Editor-in-Chief of the Clarionette Editorial Board. The following staffers will assume their roles as the new Editorial Board members: Bernadette Ojo as the Associate Editor-in-Chief, Ai Tojo as the Managing Editor, Hanna Nagpal as the Social Media Manager, and Sophia Dueñas as the Social Media Layout Editor. Mr. Marc Joseph Palado remains Clarionette’s Technical Adviser. 

The following are the new editors and heads of the various Clarionette departments: Ruanne Tan as the News Editor, Reigne Bautista as the Sports Editor, Jewel Recto as the Feature Editor, and Andrew Natividad as the Literary Editor. Following them are Raven Delos Santos as Head Layout, Mic Ezekiel Santiago as Head Cartoonist, and finally, Adia Avendaño as Head Photojournalist.


After the introduction, the previous editor-in-chief, Claire Ferrer, gave her closing remarks. The program ended with Aurora Isabel Madali leading the closing prayer.
