AAMCSI AND SCHOLARS CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS PARTY 2023

As part of their annual tradition, the AAMCSI had their Christmas Party for the year 2023 in Malate Catholic School last Friday, December 8, 2023.

Last December 8, 2023, the Alumni Association of Malate Catholic School Inc. with the scholars and their parents conducted its annual Christmas party in MCS’ Audio Visual Little Theatre and canteen as thanksgiving and to reward their scholars for their academic performances.

The masters of ceremonies were Julianna Manuel of Grade 7 - St. John and Rafael James Huenda of Grade 11 - St. Albert.

The program started with an opening prayer followed by the welcoming remarks of Mr. Alford Rosen Sena, the President of the AAMCSI. After this, the judges and participants for the Christmas presentation of the scholars under the theme of Y2K, or Year 2000’s were introduced.

The Christmas presentation started with Group K, followed by Group 2, and finally, Group Y.

Various games were conducted by the Board of Directors,  Ms. Soledad Jalimao, Ms. Denise Serrano, and Ms. Michelle Santiago, Guidance Counselor, where selected scholars and parents joined. In between games, intermission numbers such as a solo Rondalla performance and a Christmas carol serenade were performed. 

The kris kringle or exchange gift was conducted, and the dance presentation winners were announced and awarded. The champion, Group Y won with a cash prize of 10,000 pesos. 

After awarding the winners, Attorney Marlon Gonzales, Chairman of the AAMCSI Scholarship Committee, conducted the raffle and gift-giving. He then gave his closing remarks. Finally, at 7 PM, the program ended with a closing prayer.

Before everyone had left, the scholars, AAMCSI officers, board members, and parents were allowed a photo opportunity.
