MCS PARTICIPATED IN THE PROCESSION OF OUR LADY OF REMEDIES FIESTA

 On November 19, 2023, Malate Catholic School honors the feast of the Our Lady of Remedies by participating in the procession.

On Sunday, November 19, 2023, at approximately 4:00 PM, Malate Catholic School students and personnel took part in the fiesta procession of Our Lady of Remedies. The route of the procession was from Malate Church, went around the Malate area, and ended back at Malate Church. 

The attendees of the procession were MCS students from Grades 6-12, personnel, parents, and some alumni. Students from Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School also attended. In the procession, the attendees accompanied Sto Niño, St. Columban, St. Anne and St. Joaquin, and St. Joseph.

The MCS Band performed all throughout the procession and the Malatean Scouts assisted in organizing the routes and providing medical support in case of emergencies.

The procession began after the attendees watched the “Sayawan sa Patio'' at Malate Church where members of the Malatean Movers and Cultural Guild performed a Sinulog Festival Dance. 

The procession ended with the enthronement of Our Lady of Remedies at Malate Church.
