Rakele is currently a sophomore attending David Douglas High School. This is her first year as a journalism student. She heavily enjoys writing, and is all about encouraging others to pursue what they're passionate about. She is bilingual and takes an interest in learning new languages. She tends to travel a lot and enjoys making photo albums of her trips. Outside of the classroom, but not necessarily school, Rakele plays for the volleyball team here at Douglas. Her many interests also include the piano, painting, and involving herself in many activities.
