Katie Liang is a DDHS sophomore born in Portland, Oregon, starting her first year as a journalism student. She plays violin in the DDHS Symphonic String Orchestra. She spends her free time listening to music, playing ukulele, and drinking lemonade. Her favorite books are The Iliad by Homer and The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, and her favorite music genres are R&B, hip hop, and classical. Katie is also 6 feet 2 inches tall.
