Nardin Ishak, a hard-working and ambitious member of The Highlander staff, is starting her third year in journalism and her second year as a newspaper reporter. She is Egyptian and moved here to the U.S three years ago. She's her family's personal translator. She has been working as a medical screener at Adventist Health for a year and was able to get sponsored for CNA-1 and CNA-2 programs. She enjoys drawing, listening to music, baking, eating yummy foods, helping people, and watching her favorite TV shows. She also got to watch an open heart CABG surgery, which she says was one of the coolest things she has done.
