Absence of Mind is short film about someone who has a daydream. The film begins with a character working in his backyard and then cuts to him drawing in his bedroom and then to him zoning out in his car. When this happens, he blinks and goes into a strange dream. Things that seem like figments of the familiar are shrouded in darkness and flow in strange sequences. The sound and effects are used to add to the tension. This is a kind of portrait of introspection on the routines and rumination developed throughout lockdown.
