Inspired by the seasonal coral bleaching that occurs in the Great Barrier Reef. This work uses a negative gradient of colour, organic shape and contrasting texture to signify the devastating effect of coral bleaching. The severe juxtaposition between the two states of the artwork represent the stark difference between the natural beauty of our reefs and the unnatural effect which climate change has on them.
