This artwork is a response to my mum, and the celebration of Mother’s Day. It was completed using markers and pencils during remote learning, and taken from a photo of Mum. I have tried to create it almost in a pop art style, leaving the main elements of Mum’s facial features, predominantly her glasses, as her distinguishing and defining features. By using ‘pops’ of colour, I have created a clean image, full of life, fun and happiness, just like my own Mum. Love you, MUM!!!
