This is a response study to the artwork of Molly Jugadai Napaltjarri and was created using coloured pencils. Like Molly’s work, it is based on a Dreamtime Creation story, and the mothers and children travelling and looking for bush tucker. It has a strong use of symbolism representing travelling, food sources and innovation of natural resources to sustain a nomadic lifestyle. It uses contemporary colours and was created with the uttermost acknowledgement and respect for both the original artist and traditional owners of this land.
