In this case, there came a need for a stylish look so that they could show off to the other parents at their church playgroup through their children. I was inspired by the playfulness of the gingham pattern, so I created this dress using gingham to allow a child to play freely, and cosily, during the colder winter months by pairing the dress with a warm shirt underneath, but also be versatile for the seasons as a stand-alone piece.
