Prep students used crayons, and various papers to create a scene from Tiddalick the Frog Who Caused a Flood. Each of the 4 homegroups used different line markings on coloured paper to create the waves of the water, the groups of animals, the swirling leaves of the trees and the rugged ground. These were then shaped, cut and joined to create the scenery such as trees, billabong, and ground. Collaborative collage created the water and Tiddalick, with students focusing on their tearing and cutting skills. Animal templates were provided and traced around and cut out to further develop fine motor skills.
