The bright clashing colours of the modern figure is depicted with sporadic brush strokes to create a sense of strength and vitality. Despite the figure having been placed in a warped and abstracted stereo-typical 1950’s kitchen with its oppressive achromatic scheme closing in on her, she appears determined and fearless.
