Students looked at the works of American artist George Condo, specifically his portrayal of people. Year 6 students were charged with the task of completing a line, self-portrait interpretation, with a monochromatic colour scheme. Students used repetition of line to build shading to create form in their representation of self. This is a whole year level piece, representing all of the cohort together, even though for much of the year they were unable to be together.
