Graphite pencil on paper and gold leaf. These four illustrations depict an appropriated version of Laocoön and His Sons, 42 BC, by artists Agesander of Rhodes, Athenodoros of Rhodes and Polydorus of Rhodes. My graphite adaption of the white marble sculpture conceptually depicts the dimension of the human form through articulate blending of an extensive scale of grey tones.
