Drawing inspiration from the current pandemic, the artwork explores the concept of youth isolation. The paintings refer to the dependence of technology to keep connected socially and the increasing reliance of takeaway and consumerism. The highly monochromatic use of oil paint on a plywood board with very little use of colour convey the melancholic feelings of isolation.
