Kronos 8.1.7 Information

Effective January 1, 2021:  DNR has launched a new version of the Kronos application for timekeeping activities for all DNR employees. You will utilize Kronos 8.1 to enter time for January (please continue to utilize the current Kronos 5.2 to input all time for the month of December).

Some important things to keep in mind:

• Please bookmark this URL as this is the system for inputting time for 2021 and beyond

• Your User Name is your 9-digit EID (if you obtained your EID from Kronos 5.2 do not include the “P” at the end)

• The initial (or old) password is:  Welcome1!   (You will be prompted to update your password and security questions once in the system)  The PW utilized in Kronos 5.2 WILL NOT work in Kronos 8.1

• Your accrued annual and sick balances should reflect in Kronos 8.1 after Monday, January 11th

2)  OIT's Kronos Resource Site, which includes job aids for performing the most common tasks in Kronos 8.1 along with self-paced eLearning modules. This will help you understand how you will be entering your timekeeping information in this new tool.
