Retirement Steps

• • Supervisor needs to initiate EDSys transaction

  • Make sure date on the retirement letter is the last day worked

  • Both Employee and Supervisor Approve the last timecard 

  • Last month's pay equals last month of benefits

  • DNR Payroll will automatically submit the 6 Month Salary form to PERA by the15th of the next month after retirement

  • The month after the last month worked will payout any accruals of Annual Leave and Sick Time
